About the Property

In March 2010 our company purchased a vacation home in Loreto Bay, Mexico for the use of our tenants and friends. Loreto Bay was recently ranked #8 on the New York Times 41 Places to Go in 2011. Located on the Sea of Cortez, approximately 400 miles north of Cabo San Lucas, Loreto is easily accessible by air (Alaska/Horizon Airlines)-leave Portland in the morning and arrive around 2 p.m.-the airport is just 5 miles from our house. It has two master suites, each with a queen bed, is fully furnished with a complete cook’s kitchen, two bikes, snorkeling gear, towels etc. and can be used by up to 4 adults (or kids with permission.)

Loreto Bay was built on the model of a European Village. High density, no streets or garages, one main boulevard in and out. It is designed for walkers and bikers. The house is less than 100 yards from the beach and 500 yards from Punto Nopolo, where there is easy and exciting snorkeling. Kayaks and sailing are accessible on our beach. It is also a short walk to the Inn at Loreto Bay, where you can lounge by the pool, eat great food, work out etc. Our village also has a private salt water pool and a general store. You may want to rent a car for a few days to visit the town of Loreto (seven miles away), stock up on groceries (farmers market every Sunday) and get the lay of the land.

Our casa is available to our tenants (and their guests) free of charge for one week after staying with us continuously for a period of three years. Just consult our on-line calendar for availability, make your airplane reservations, sign our user agreement and off you go. It is our way of sharing what we have been fortunate to acquire with our very special tenants and friends.
